SONYA SKINNER

As the founder of Wild Light Estates, Sonya is deeply committed to the art of land development, home building, and design. Her experience spans running a successful design studio, renovating multiple properties, and co-leading a large-scale land development project in Costa Rica from 2017 to 2023. Over six years, Sonya and her team transformed a 17-acre estate, developing key infrastructure, including roads, electricity, water systems, and sanitation. They also enriched the landscape by planting over 200 fruit trees and constructed a 150m² headquarters with a mezzanine and a separate studio. The project successfully sold to a US land developer in 2023, marking the culmination of years of vision and hard work. Sonya’s hands-on approach and passion for development are at the heart of Wild Light Estates’ mission to deliver meaningful land uplift.

With her extensive background at Land Profits, Ella brings a wealth of expertise in helping landowners unlock hidden value in their properties. She has built a solid reputation for maximising the potential of land while prioritising the needs and satisfaction of clients. Ella’s approach is rooted in bespoke planning solutions, ensuring that each development is tailored to the client's specific goals and aligned with broader community interests. Her experience and dedication make her an invaluable part of Wild Light Estates.
